Reinke Manufacturing of Deshler,NE is currently accepting applications for the position of Irrigation Service Technician within the Technical Support department. The purpose of the Irrigation Service Technician position is to provide dealer and customer assistance in the areas of product training, troubleshooting and on-site or telephone technical support. Troubleshooting responsibilities of this position will be related to the structural, mechanical, electrical and electronic aspects of center pivot irrigation products. Irrigation Service Technician candidates must have proven experience and aptitude with electronics, mechanics and electricity. Upon gaining product knowledge, they must be able to successfully diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve various equipement and installation malfunctions/issues over the telephone or on the job site. The incumbent must be able to read and interpret blueprints;technical service bulletins; product specifications and other standard operating procedures. Additionally, the incumbent in this position must possess strong communication and interpersonal skills. Computer literacy; the ability to obtain and hold a U.S. passport and state driver's license; the ability to travel domestically and internationally and the ability to perform the physical aspects of the position are also all requirements.
