Reinke Mfg. Co., Inc. of Deshler, Nebraska is currently accepting applications for Robotics/ Automation Maintenance Technician. Under the general supervision of the Maintenance Manager, this new position will participate in a wide variety of activities involving the installation, maintenance, operational testing, repair and trouble shooting of automated, computerized and robotic production equipment. Will work closely with other maintenance, engineering and production staff in the overall effort of maintaining equipment efficiencies, quality of production, the elimination of down time, and the use of good manufacturing practices. This position requires a thorough knowledge of experience and proficiency with electronics including PLCs; variable frequency controllers and DC drives; electrical/electronic circuitry; welding; production mechanics and fabrication. Three to five or more years of work experience in these prerequisite areas is required. Completion of a two year formal program (Associates Degree) in Welding; Electronics, or Electromechanical Technology is preferred for this position, but not required. This position will be responsible for performing both preventative maintenance and regular maintenance on welders as well as a wide variety of other plant machinery and equipment. A strong mechanical aptitude, good communication skills and a proactive approach and attitude towards the upkeep of equipment are required. Previous work experience in a manufacturing environment with a background in mechanical and/or electrical maintenance/troubleshooting is preferred.
