History

The Reinke trailer story began in 1985 with a desire for company product diversification. Reinke Manufacturing Co. Inc. was already a successful 30-year-old company, but continued to search for opportunities to grow and expand. Led by Richard Reinke, company founder, and a group of his finest engineers, they set out to find a product that would complement their current business and provide the company with yet another successful product line. With years of metal fabrication experience in both steel and aluminum, the flatbed trailer seemed the perfect answer. Now, more than 15 years, thousands of trailers and thousands of satisfied customers later, Reinke has fast become a transportation industry leader in quality, service and innovation.

Design

Reinke trailers are known for their lightweight but strong durable design with a variety of options. Trailer designs include all-aluminum flatbeds and combination drop decks. The unique design of a Reinke trailer sets it apart from all others.

Experienced welders and fitters craft all Reinke trailers. The dedicated production team exhibits a strong midwestern work ethic and takes pride in their craftsmanship.

The company’s design philosophy keeps the upper deck rigid, while allowing the necessary flexibility in the lower part of the frame structure. The trailer framework utilizes high-strength 6061-T6 aluminum, along with high tensile steel structural components, to provide the trailer with the rigidity and dependability demanded by our customers. Full 6” cross members and full 8” side rails are standard trailer components. The signature Reinke parabolic main beam design (deep belly) provides additional strength and backbone to complement the trailers sleek design. Topping it all off with the standard Reinke “Super Floor”, comprised of 1 3/8” Apitong wood and our unique aluminum hat sections running the full length of the trailer between each board, completes the most prized and respected trailer in the industry.
