High-Strength Steel vs Mild Steel
High-strength steel is the key to durability and functionality in our systems. We wouldn’t use anything less. High-strength steel reduces:
- weight
- stress on the drive train
- deep wheel tracks
- ownership/maintenance costs
Heavier Doesn’t Mean Stronger
To achieve the same strength as Reinke systems, our competitors use larger diameter truss rods. Larger diameter rods add weight, not necessarily strength. High-strength steel rods alone can reduce tower weight by more than 200 lbs.
Three-Wheel Tower – A Lighter Weight Option
Our Three-Wheel Tower option provides additional flotation needed for soil types that rut easily. It also aids the system in traversing challenging terrain.
