Reinke Manufacturing and Midwest Bank Meet Matching Challenge Grant Goal, Raising $100,000 for Spring Creek Kids, Inc.

May 20, 2024 (Deshler, NE) – Reinke Manufacturing and Midwest Bank are excited to announce they have met their matching challenge grant for $100,000 to Spring Creek Kids, Inc. Childcare Center. In July 2023, each company committed to donating $50,000 once an additional $100,000 was raised for the project.
Chris Roth, Reinke President, said, “Reinke is proud to support the Spring Creek Kids, LLC Childcare Center. Reinke employees are in need of high-quality childcare services, and this is a great way for Reinke to help get it developed. It is fantastic that the community has also supported this endeavor.”
Rebecca Stengel, Market President for Midwest Bank in Deshler, said, “Midwest Bank is committed to supporting the communities we serve, and we’re excited to announce we’ve met the matching goal. And we are incredibly proud of our community members and other local businesses for helping to support this important cause. But fundraising isn’t complete yet, and you can still help Spring Creek Kids reach their goal.”
With the matching grant, the total funds raised are now up to $470,000. Spring Creek Kids Inc.’s total capital budget for this project is $750,000. The project includes renovating an existing building for the center. The childcare center will provide childcare for infants to preschool age. Over time, the center will work to provide after-school programs for older children.
Reinke Manufacturing and Midwest Bank continue to encourage other local and regional businesses, community groups, and supportive citizens to donate to the project and help make the childcare center a reality for families here in the area.
Spring Creek Kids Inc. is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit formed to bring additional childcare options to the Deshler community and surrounding areas. A fundraising account has also been set up at Midwest Bank, and donations can be dropped off at the Deshler location.
