DRIVING THE LOAD
The Reinke drive train is engineered to give you years of trouble-free service. Its high efficiency gear motor delivers exceptional torque to propel your system over the roughest terrain and difficult soil conditions. Every detail of the wheel gearbox has been engineered to carry the load of the system and deliver remarkable strength throughout the field.
CENTER DRIVE
The Reinke center drive is engineered to provide years of trouble free service. The 95% efficient helical gear design is enclosed in an all aluminum case for cooler running temperatures, longer life and increased corrosion resistance. Three output RPMs are available (29, 43 and 70) to match tire size and rotation times for specific system requirements. The Reinke center drive delivers exceptional torque to propel the system over the roughest terrain and most difficult soil conditions.
Shock absorbing 3/4" steel drive shafts help extend gear life by reducing the starting stress on gears. All Reinke systems come standard with high torque capacity couplers which are self aligning and grease free. Steel U-joints are optional. All systems feature covers for both the drive shaft and couplers as standard equipment.

Wheel gearbox
EVERY DETAIL HAS BEEN ENGINEERED MAKING A POWERFULLY BUILT GEARBOX
The heavy duty, 50:1 ratio Reinke wheel gearbox has a large 2-1/4" diameter output shaft and a flange made of high strength steel to carry the load. The input bearings are the largest in the industry and provide 55% greater load capacity for larger tires and faster rotation times.
The cartridge style input and output seals utilize a multi-lip design and precision ground, polished sealing surface to eliminate oil leaks. The unique rolling diaphragm minimizes pressure build up during operation. Relieving negative pressure prevents water and contaminants from being drawn into the gear case. |

Fine-tuning your Reinke system includes proper tire selection to ensure your system performs at the highest level. A variety of tire options provide the ability to match span weight and tire sizes to soil and terrain conditions, maximizing performance while minimizing wheel rutting.

rigid three-wheel towers
Reinke three-wheel towers provide the additional flotation needed for soil types that easily rut and/or require the additional traction to prevent getting stuck. Our three-wheel tower option is not only more efficient and more economical than competitive four-wheel tower options but it also adds less weight to the system with fewer components to maintain. Our rigid three-wheel option is also more cost effective than many two-wheel tower options while providing greater performance. The use of three tires may reduce wheel rut depths by 40% to 60% or more.

Our patented, award-winning flexible tower base keeps all three tires on the ground at all times, even while traversing the most difficult terrain. The Flexible Three-Wheel Base places a more consistent load on the drive train even while providing power to all three wheels. Keeping all three wheels on the ground reduces the load on each tire and improves flotation, thereby reducing wheel ruts. Using three tires per tower can provide 1.5 to 3 times as much ground surface area as two 11 x 22.5 recap tires depending on which tire option is chosen.
