sprinkler outlets
At Reinke Irrigation, a lot goes on behind the scenes to get to the moment where a water droplet reaches your field and is absorbed by the soil.
Our uniquely designed sprinkler outlets play a part.
Reinke sprinkler outlets look like the reverse of our competitors’ versions. That is, our couplers are welded to the outside of the pipe rather than the inside. Studies have shown that couplers inside the pipe, known as flow-drilled couplers, obstruct water flow.
A 3/4-inch stainless steel coupler is used on stainless steel and chromium nickel water pipes. A formed aluminum 3/4-inch flanged coupler is used for aluminum pipes. All outlets are tapered for a tight, leak-proof sprinkler fit. Our exterior-welded couplers provide increased strength and unobstructed water flow, helping every drop reach your field as intended.
Sprinkler features help define irrigation capabilities, so we offer a wide variety of options. Reinke’s standard outlet spacing is 57 inches, rather than the competitors’ 90 or 118 inches. Reinke also provides Low Energy Precision Application (LEPA) outlet spacing options at 40 inches apart as well as a 30-inch spacing option.
With closer outlet spacing, you have the option to add more sprinklers at a lower height for increased precision, which leads to energy and water savings. When water is applied within a foot or two of the ground, sprinklers must be closer to properly fill the spray pattern. Some of our Texas growers need outlets closer together to irrigate furrows.
Complete with drop hoses and LEPA sprinkler heads, their irrigation systems use water efficiently by reducing wind drift and evaporation.
Some of our international clients irrigate sugarcane, which reaches heights of 12 feet or more, so that’s a whole different story and sprinkler package.
Is your soil sandy, or clay? Do you have uneven terrain? What are the anticipated irrigation requirements for your crop? How much water is available
for irrigation?
By using a variety of plates, operating pressures, mounting heights and sprinkler spacing, your sprinkler package at Reinke is custom-designed
to suit your climate, land features and crop. We offer the best sprinkler products to provide a multitude of droplet sizes and pattern widths using
advanced rotary, offset axis rotary and fixed spray sprinkler technologies best suited for the specific crop or application.
